India vs Australia 4th T20I, Raipur Weather Forecast: Will rain play spoilsport?

[ad_1]

India would look to seal the five-match series when they face Australia in the penultimate T20I on Friday at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The match will see the return of designated vice-captain, Shreyas Iyer, who was rested for the first three T20s following India’s outstanding performance in the recently ended 2023 World Cup.

Despite the absence of several major players, India have began serious preparations for the 2024 T20 World Cup and will try to maintain momentum. With only eight T20Is remaining until the premier event in the West Indies and the United States, India will seek to tick every box and set the experiments in motion before finalising the entire team. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj, Ishan Kishan, and skipper Suryakumar Yadav have all contributed to India’s 200-plus totals in all three games. As the teams prepare for this crucial encounter, weather conditions are expected to be favorable for cricket.

RAIPUR WEATHER FORECAST

The forecast for Raipur on this day predicts hazy and very warm weather, with a minimal chance of rain—only a 4% probability during the day and 5% at night. There is no threat of thunderstorms, ensuring that fans can look forward to an uninterrupted match. Temperatures are anticipated to range between a comfortable 19 degrees Celsius and a warm 31 degrees Celsius.

Gentle winds from the northeast are expected to blow at speeds of around 11 km/hr during the day and slow down slightly to 9 km/hr at night. While wind gusts could reach up to 19 km/hr within the next 24 hours, they are unlikely to disrupt the game. Cloud cover remains low, with only a 6% probability during the daytime and 7% at night. With the weather gods seemingly in favor, players and spectators alike can expect a thrilling evening of T20 cricket under the lights in Raipur.
