Captain Rohit Sharma posed with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and sent best wishes for Diwali to their fans worldwide.

“शुभ दीपावली,” Rohit captioned his social media post.

Batting maestro Virat Kohli was also clicked with his wife Anushka Sharma and other members of the Indian team during the celebrations as they posed together wearing classy festival attire.

The festive occasion provided a rare opportunity for players to relax, unwind, and build stronger bonds with their families. Laughter echoed through the team quarters as players, accompanied by spouses, children and parents, enjoyed the festive feast and exchanged gifts.

Coach Rahul Dravid acknowledged the importance of family support in the players’ lives. “These moments with family are precious, especially in the midst of a challenging tournament. It’s a chance to recharge mentally and emotionally before our upcoming matches,” Dravid stated.

India set to continue their winning streak

India, having delivered commendable performances in the league stage so far, are gearing up for a clash against the Netherlands. The match will take place at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, November 12.
