Statements from close associates of both Sara and Shubman clarified that the viral photograph is actually of Sara and her brother, Arjun Tendulkar. Sara shared a photograph of hugging Arjun on Instagram the day her brother turned 24.

Using an AI too, Shubman’s face was morphed into Arjun’s face.

As the dust settles on this viral spectacle, Union IT Ministry has been prompted to initiate an investigation and caution social media platforms to delete images that have been affected by AI and Deep Fake technology. Recently, altered images and videos of numerous Bollywood actresses, including Katrina Kaif and Rashmika Mandanna, were circulating heavily on social media.

Shubman Gill gearing for upcoming World Cup matches

Team India opener Shubman Gill has so far scored 219 runs in six games of the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. He has been one of the most important players for the Men in the Blue this year, amassing 1449 ODI runs at an average of 63 with the help of five centuries.

As India prepares to face the Netherlands in their last league stage match, all eyes will be on Gill regaining his sublime touch ahead of the all-important semifinal against South Africa on November 15.
