The Indian team has been locking horns against Australia in a five-match T20I series where the Suryakumar Yadav-led team won the first game. On the back of Josh Inglis’ terrific knock, Australia managed to put up 208/3 in 20 overs but then it was Suryakumar and Kishan who starred with the bat, helping India win the game by 2 wickets on Thursday.

Apart from India winning the game, there was one incident that hogged the limelight of the game was confusion between Gaikwad and Jaiswal while running between the wickets.

The incident transpired on the fifth ball of the first over being bowled by Marcus Stoinis, Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad got run out without facing a single delivery. After witnessing it live, it seemed Jaiswal was the one who called Gaikwad for a second run and then suddenly said no and as a result, Ruturaj got out. Post the dismissal, Marcus started laughing in Jaiswal’s direction and the India star stared back.

Talking about the game, the Indian team outplayed Australia by  2 wickets in the first of the five-match T20I series at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. It was  Mumbai based batter Suryakumar Yadav’s fiery knock of 80 runs off 42 balls that helped India end up on the winning side and taking a 1-0 lead series.

The two teams will now play against each other in the second T20I at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday (November 26) and the Men in Blue will look to continue their winning momentum.
