Will take care of your surgery

[ad_1]

A fan has revealed the chat he had with MS Dhoni after he invaded the pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium during Chennai Super Kings’ IPL 2024 match against Gujarat Titans in the recently-concluded IPL 2024.

After invading the pitch, the fan touched MS Dhoni’s feet before the former India skipper picked him and hugged him. The two had a brief chat as well before the security officials took the fan away from the field of play. And the fan has now revealed the details of the conversation.

The fan revealed that MS Dhoni had asked him about his heavy breathing. The fan had a health issue and he told Dhoni about it. In response, the former India skipper assured the fan that he would take care of the surgery,

“When I saw him, I tried to surrender. I raised my hand in delight and chased him. Mahi bhai said ‘I am trying to have fun here’,” the fan said while speaking with Focussed Indian.

“I went mad. I touched his feet. He is a legend, I had tears in my eyes. He asked me why I was breathing heavily. I had jumped the fence, ran onto the pitch and I was breathing heavily. I told him about a problem with my nose. He said: ‘I will take care of your surgery. Don’t worry. I will not let anything happen to you’,” the fan added.

Will MS Dhoni play in IPL 2025?

With IPL 2024 done and dusted, MS Dhoni’s future as a player in the IPL has become the talk of the town again. Speculations were rife that the former India skipper would bring down the curtains on his career after the completion of the tournament this year.

His decision to step down as the captain just before the start of the season only added fuel to the fire. However, MS Dhoni is yet to announce his decision. And recently, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan spoke on the veteran’s future. He stated that while even the franchise does not know about Dhoni’s future, it would like the former captain to play next year.

“I do not know. It is a question only MS [Dhoni] can answer,” Viswanathan said. “We have always respected the decisions taken by MS. We have left it to him and as all of you know he has always taken his decisions and announced it at the appropriate time.”

“We do expect that we will get a decision as and when he decides. But we are very hopeful he’ll be available for CSK next year,” he added. “That is the view and expectation of the fans and mine.”
