India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s daughters flaunted their cricket knowledge in an adorable quiz video. Ashwin posted a small and entertaining quiz video with his two daughters on Instagram on Thursday, 30 May. The video has since gone viral and has amazed the fans who have been impressed by the cricketing trivia of the spinners’ daughters. In the video, Ashwin hosted a T20 World Cup quiz for his daughters, asking them a range of questions.
Ashwin asked the duo about where the T20 World Cup was going to be played, which city would host the marquee India vs Pakistan clash. Ashwin’s daughters correctly answered questions about the countries that were going to host the T20 World Cup. They also correctly guessed the captain of the West Indies.

Ashwin’s daughters also knew the name of the Indian head coach and where cricketer Shimron Hetmyer belonged. However, they were not confident with where was Hetmyer from. The video has gone viral on social media and has over 300,00 likes on Instagram, as of Friday morning.
The only answer that they were not able to give was which city would host the India vs Pakistan group stage match. Ashwin told them that it was going to New York.
INDIA’S T20 WORLD CUP SQUAD
R Ashwin was not able to make the cut for India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad. India opted to take four spinners for the tournament – Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. Many argued that it was an overkill to carry four spinners, however, chief selector Ajit Agarkar argued that the might need multiple combinations in the low and slow pitches of the Caribbean islands.
The majority of the Indian team has reached New York ahead of their only warm-up game against Bangladesh. The team will start its group stage campaign on June 5 against Ireland.
