Australia’s bowlers faced a daunting task, with Marcus Stoinis (1 wicket for 27 runs), Nathan Ellis (3 wickets for 45 runs), and Glenn Maxwell (38 runs in 2 overs) trying to contain the Indian batsmen. However, the relentless attack led to a challenging target for the Australian side.

Bowlers shine to take India over the finish line
In response, Australia’s chase fell short as they managed 191/9 in their 20 overs. Despite Marcus Stoinis‘s valiant effort with a robust 45 off 25 balls, India’s bowlers put up a disciplined performance.
The disciplined bowling attack, led by Prasidh Krishna (3 wickets for 41 runs) and Ravi Bishnoi (3 wickets for 32 runs) played crucial roles in restricting Australia’s innings. Arshdeep Singh (1 wicket for 46 runs), Axar Patel (1 wicket for 25 runs), and Mukesh Kumar (1 wicket for 43 runs), also shined with the ball as Australia fell short of the target.
In the end, India emerged victorious by 44 runs in a high-scoring and thrilling encounter, showcasing their dominance in both batting and bowling.
