“The Hair Products To Look After This Disgrace..”- James Faulkner Hilariously Trolls Kevin Pietersen

[ad_1]

James Faulkner and Kevin Pietersen rarely miss an opportunity to have some fun at each other’s experience. The bromance between the former cricketers is well-known to cricket fans.

James Faulkner and Kevin Pietersen shared the dressing room for Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League and the bromance between them is well appreciated by the fans. Time and again, they leave the fans in splits by poking fun at each other, especially on X (formerly Twitter).

And James Faulkner was at it again on Wednesday (December 6). It all began when Kevin Pietersen took to X to share his comprehensive checklist for assessing a hotel’s quality, highlighting factors such as coffee, shower water pressure, pillow softness, toilet paper quality, room service speed, the club sandwich, and cleanliness.

And James Faulkner couldn’t resist taking a humorous jab at the former England captain. The former Australia all-rounder shared an old photo of the England great’s iconic hairstyle from the 2005 Ashes series, accompanied by a witty caption, writing: “Yep the hair products to look after this disgrace mate @KP24”

Where it all began for Kevin Pietersen and James Faulkner:

While Kevin Pietersen and James Faulkner became good friends after playing together in the BBL, the banter between the two began before that. A few years ago, Pietersen had revealed that it all began during the Ashes Test in London in August 2013.

“We’re now very good mates. We had a great lovers tiff – well we weren’t lovers then, in the first Test match that he played,” Pietersen had told cricket.com.au.

“It was quite funny, some of the banter that was happening. It was his first Test match and he came out and started spraying me. I turned around and I said, ‘Mate, I don’t know your name – I’ve got absolutely no idea who you are. You can say what you want but until I learn your name I just won’t engage.

“He kept going, so I just turned around to the umpire, Aleem Dar, and I said to him, ‘Aleem, who is that stood next to you?’

“And Aleem said, ‘I don’t know’. So that got it off and going!” he added.
