Rishabh Pant, 527 days after his life-threatening accident, will wear the India jersey on June 5 for the opening T20 World Cup match against Ireland at Nassau County ground. After a comeback with DC in March, Pant is eager to don the ‘India Blue.’ Having scored 446 runs in 13 IPL games, a leaner and fitter Pant is finding his form again, evident during practice at Cantiague Park, New York. Pant also discussed the potential rise of cricket in the USA, seeing the T20 World Cup as the beginning of an exciting chapter.
