Kane Williamson has no regrets over missing out on a well-deserved hundred in the match against Pakistan in the World Cup 2023. Williamson, returning from injury, made 95 runs in Bengaluru.
“Yeah, look, I mean, I just try and play the role for the team as best I can. And we were certainly in a position where we wanted to accelerate, regardless of what you’re on. You know, I think it’s just about trying to do the job for the team. And we saw that from a number of guys and whether you pass a milestone or not, that’s probably more for all you people in the room. But in terms of contribution to the team, that’s certainly the most important thing,” said Williamson.
