“It is stated that the General notice was issued to BYJU’s vide email dated 06.01.2023 and the default amount of Rs.158 crore. excluding TDS as reflected.

“Two weeks is granted to the Respondent (Byju’s) to file a reply and one week thereafter is granted to the Applicant (BCCI) to file rejoinder, if any, after duly serving the copy on the other side.”

BCCI had already informed NCLT that they had sent notice to Byju’s, who came on board in 2019, through email dated January 6, 2023, with a default amount of Rs 158 crore, excluding TDS.

India To Tour South Africa next

Indian Cricket Team will be next seen in action this month. They will tour South Africa for the three-match ODI and T20I series along with two-Test series. BCCI has named the squad for the series and has given opportunities to quite a few youngsters in all three formats.

The South Africa tour will begin with a three-match T20I series, to be played from 10th December to 14th December. After that action will move towards the ODI series, slated to take place from 17th December to 21st December. The Test series will be played from 26th December to 7th January.

India recently were seen in action during the T20I series against Australia. They clinched the series by the margin of 4-1 under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, who will captain the team in the T20I series against South Africa.

KL Rahul will be captaining the ODI team whereas Rohit Sharma will be leading the Test series. India haven’t won a Test series in South Africa and it’ll be a great opportunity for them to etch the history and enter their name in record books.
