Kuldeep Yadav Rattles Jos Buttler With Ball Of The Tournament

[ad_1]

Kuldeep Yadav produced a peach of a delivery in match 29 of the ICC World Cup 2023. The spinner potentially bowled a ball of the tournament at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow and helped his team win their 6th consecutive game.

Kuldeep Yadav yet again looked unplayable as he was yet again the shining light for his team. The bowler bowled impeccable lines and lengths and made England’s batter look clueless in Lucknow.

But what caught the attention of many was the ball he got England captain Jos Buttler with. It was an absolute peach to which the keeper-batter had no clue. It happened during the first ball of the 16th over and put his team on the top.

Kuldeep Yadav bowled a delivery with a flatter trajectory outside off. Jos Buttler went deep crease in his crease to play the ball on off-side but the ball turned back sharply and went through the gap between bat and pad. The ball shattered the stumps.

Jos Buttler’s torrid run in the tournament continued as he bagged another failure. He scored just 10 runs. After his wicket, England lost wickets in clusters and were bundled out for just 129 runs. They suffered their 5th loss of the tournament.

Kuldeep Yadav after removing Jos Buttler sent Liam Livingstone packing as well. He returned with the figures of 2/24 and helped India win. He looked quite threatening when he bowled and it didn’t seem that England batters read him well.

IND vs ENG: Rohit Sharma Says India Has Best Bowling Line up in the Tournament

Indian captain Rohit Sharma lavished rich praise on the bowlers after the win over England. He admitted that they have good balance and they do magic with the ball. He explained:

“I think so. We have a good balance, a couple of good spinners, and the seamers have a lot of experience playing in these conditions. There’s a fair bit of options and experience as well. It’s very important that the batters put runs on the board, give them something to work with and then rely on them to do the magic.”

India will be next seen action when they take on Sri Lanka on 2nd November in Mumbai.
