[ad_1]

Jude Bellingham wrote his name into El Clasico folklore as the midfielder scored a brace to help Real Madrid secure a comeback win over their arch-rivals Barcelona on October 28, Saturday.

In a thrilling LaLiga ‘El Clasico’ on Saturday, Real Madrid emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Barcelona, thanks to the exceptional performance of the 20-year-old English midfielder.

Since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund, Bellingham has been in sensational form, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists in just 13 games across all competitions.

The match began with Barcelona taking an early lead in the sixth minute, courtesy of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. Capitalizing on a defensive error by Real Madrid, Gundogan found himself perfectly positioned for an easy goal.

Despite Barcelona’s dominance in the first half and several missed opportunities to extend their lead, they were unable to convert their chances into goals.

Real Madrid, however, turned the tide in the second half. In the 68th minute, Bellingham fired a powerful shot from distance that found its way into the top left corner of the net, equalizing the score.

As the match entered stoppage time, Bellingham once again stepped up, scoring the decisive goal after receiving a pass from Luka Modric inside the box.

Barcelona were left to rue their missed opportunities in the game as it came back to haunt them in the end.

Barcelona had several opportunities to extend their lead, with Fermin Lopez hitting the post in the 15th minute and Ronald Araujo being denied by a brilliant save from goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

However, Real Madrid’s resilience and tactical changes by manager Carlo Ancelotti, including the introduction of Eduardo Camavinga and Modric, proved pivotal.

With this victory, Real Madrid now sits at the top of the LaLiga standings with 28 points, tied with Girona. Barcelona trails behind in third place with 24 points, two points ahead of Atletico Madrid, who have two games in hand.
