[ad_1]

India and New Zealand are all set to face each other in the first semi-final of the World Cup 2023 on Wednesday, November 15 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

India won all nine of their matches in the league stage and finished on top of the points table. Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer of the tournament and also equalled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI hundreds.

The pace bowling trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Siraj have been in the face of batters. Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja have also been effective in the bowling department.

As far as New Zealand, they have unearthed a gem in Rachin Ravindra, who has already smashed three hundreds in the tournament. The Black Caps started with four matches before going on a four-match losing streak. They beat Sri Lanka in their last and final league match to make their way through to the semis.

How will the weather be in Mumbai on match day?

There is no chance of rain as of now, much to the relief of fans and the cricketers from both countries. But playing conditions are expected to be hot and humid. Temperatures will be around 36 degrees Celsius at the start of the match. Temperatures will come down to around 30 degrees Celsius by the end of the game.

The humidity will be in the 40s throughout the duration of the contest. Air quality will be ‘unhealthy’ during the course of the game. There will be no cloud cover either.
