The Men in Blue lost a chance of winning their third ODI World Cup title as they were outplayed by Australia last week, losing the game by six wickets.  The Indian team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma came to play the finals after winning 10 games on the trot but fell short on the final hurdle. After losing the final of the recently passed World Cup, the members of the Indian team found it hard to accept the fact and dealt with a massive heartbreak.

Even skipper Rohit Sharma was in tears and is still recovering from the fact that his team missed out on clinching the title. One of the videos is doing rounds on social media where Rohit’s daughter Samaira was spotted talking to paparazzi and she said that he father is currently spending most of his time inside his room.

“He is in a room, he is almost positive & within one month he will laugh again,” Samaira said in a viral video.

As per reports, the Indian skipper is not eager to play T20 Internationals anymore and he even discussed his future in the shortest format ahead of the 50-over World Cup. Currently, the Indian team is locking horns against Australia in the five-match T20I series where the Blue Brigade started their campaign by defeating the Kangaroos by 2 wickets in the first game on Thursday.

It was Suryakumar Yadav who starred with the bat as he played a knock of 80 off 42 and ensured his team’s victory. On the back of this win, India took a 1-0 lead series. Other than Suryakumar’s innings, Ishan Kishan also played a part, scoring 58 off 39 as India registered their highest successful chase in T20I internationals. The duo added 112 runs off the 60 balls for the third wicket after India lost both their openers inside the powerplay which became the foundation of India’s victory.
