Indian fan spots Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah in his hotel. Here’s what happened next

An Indian fan in US had the time of his life when he realised the entire Indian cricket team was staying in his hotel. The fan by the name Suneet Jain shared a video on his Instagram profile where he went to watch the India vs Ireland T20 World Cup clash on June 5 and later on also saw the whole team in person at his hotel.

Jain posted the viral video with the caption, ‘See you in the finals’. He starts the video with him and his companions going to the Nassau County International stadium to watch the India’s T20 World Cup opening encounter against Ireland. At the end of the video, the visuals show Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Rahul Dravid entering the hotel, followed by a visual of a bat with various autographs (perhaps by the different Indian players).
Notably, in their encounter of World Cup 2024, the Men in Blue restricted Ireland to a total of 96 which they chased down with relative ease in just 12.2 overs. The Rohit Sharma led side then went to register two successive victories against Pakistan and United States respectively, to find a berth in the Super 8 stages.

However, team India’s last league stage match against Canada in Florida was watched off on Saturday owing to a ‘wet outfield’. With nothing to lose ahead of the Qualifiers stage, the last league stage match may have allowed Rohit Sharma to tinker around with the team combination a little bit and allow some much-needed match time to some key players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Jaiswal.
