Shah Rukh Khan and Rinku Singh’s ‘God’s plan baby’ moment viral after KKR win IPL 2024

KKR scripted history as they lifted the IPL 2024 title and were crowned the champions for the 3rd time in the league. KKR’s co-owner Shah Rukh Khan, being ever-so-supportive, entered the stadium to meet and greet every player after KKR’s triumph. He shared a warm hug with Rinku Singh and reiterated, “God’s plan baby” and Rinku further said, “God’s plan completed”. Shah Rukh, who had come to M Chidambaram stadium alongside entire family was elated with his team’s victory. He gave a kiss on mentor Gautam Gambhir’s forehead to express his gratitude for all his guidance.
Shah Rukh has always shared a soft corner with Rinku and KKR’s star player was over the moon after lifting the trophy for KKR.

“Such amazing players are playing for the country. I am really looking forward to Rinku, Inshallah being in the World Cup Squad and some other youngsters from other teams also.”
“Some of them deserve it so much, but my personal wish is that Rinku makes it to the team. I will be so happy. That will be the high point for me,” Shah Rukh said.
Rinku has been associated with the KKR franchise for 7 years and even though he didn’t get a lot of chances this season, he has emerged as a match-winner for the team on many occasions. KKR captain Shreyas Iyer handed over the IPL trophy to Rinku as the team erupted with celebrations.
It was a one-sided final as KKR managed to defeat SRH by 8 wickets as they chased down the below-par target of 114 runs within 11 overs.
